Your Homework

Take a look at TESLA 2022 10-K (or "annual report") and locate their Balance Sheet.

1. What percentage of Liabilities does Tesla have to pay back within the next year as of December 31, 2022?

2.  What percentage of liabilities is coming from Lenders?

3.  What percentage of liabilities is coming from Suppliers?

4. What percentage of liabilities is coming from Customers?

Answers

1. $26,709 / $36,440 = 73% (Total Current Liabilities divided by Total Liabilities)

2. ($1,502 + $1,597) / $36,440 = 8.5% (add up the two Debt and Finance Leases amounts and divide by Total Liabilities)

3. ($15,255 + $7,142) / $36,440 = 61% (add up Accounts Payables and Accrued Liabilities/Other and divide by Total Liabilities)

4. ($1,747 + $2,804 + $1,063) / $36,440 = 15% (add up both Deferred Revenue lines and Customer Deposits and divide by Total Liabilities)
